McKinley had two favorite dishes while in the White House. The first was called Red Flannel Hash which was made by his cooks with potatoes and beets, however, when you research the recipe it seemed more like a corned beef and hash dish, even looked like it. 

Surprisingly enough his other favorite dish was a warm lobster salad. Can't figure out how he came to love this dish, him being from the Buckeye state of Ohio.
