John Adams New England Boiled Dinner

John Adams lived in Massachusetts and loved a good New England Boiled Dinner made up of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, onions, and carrots. He was a simple man and didn't like a fussy meal. Most of the things he ate came from local farms and he ate his heaviest meal in the middle of the day.

His farm in Massachusetts had many an apple tree so it's no surprise to find out that he loved freshly made fried apple pies for his dessert after a good hearty meal.
Adams also enjoyed a glass or pint of Hard Cider with his meals. Made from his own apples they say.
