Warren Harding

President Harding was considered a teetotaler because his presidency was held during the Prohibition era of no booze consumption. However, in private, Harding was a lush and was known to invite his friends to the White House to indulge in his homemade "Bathtub Gin" and his typical dinner fare of Knockwurst and Sauerkraut on a nightly basis.

Not only did he love Knockwurst and Sauerkraut, but he was also known for always having the White House chefs cook up a homestyle Chicken Pot Pie for dinner at the White House.
